While paper based tests have been the norm over the years, one cannot ignore that paper-based tests take up more time and effort, manual work increases the possibility of errors, flexibility is generally a constraint in paper-based tests, and that it's a huge challenge to handle such large amounts of data.
Keeping these problems in mind, we realized online tests would be more convenient and simpler as compared to the stereotypical paper-based examinations. TestCo is a utility software that makes rendering online tests possible. Different educational institutions can device test formats that conform to their syllabi and the software would seamlessly adjust.
An institution can feed any kind of question to the tool - objective, pictorial, descriptive and the like. While evaluation of objective questions is computer based, evidently, subjective questions require human scrutiny.
TestCo was the largest group I'd worked with - there were thirteen of us!
It was also the most detailed and intricate project I'd worked until then. It was part of our college curriculum, and we were required to write up all the industry specified documents - Feasibility Reports, Software Requirement Specification Document, Design Document, Test Plan, Test Cases, and the like.
We had divided ourselves into two groups, a front end group and a back end group. I was responsible for the coordination of the six members of the front end team, as well as being a point of contact between the front and back end teams.
